Atomic humans

If we are only piles of atoms,
where then do all our feelings come from
and is then love only an erratum
in this system beyond sciences’ ken,
only a short circuit that occurs when
our electrons clash, collide, and then
prang with the electrons of someone else
upon the slightest touch of our cells,
sending waves of shock like some magic spells
through our system, thus disbalancing
it and the normal energy flow in
us as well, thereby also creating
the mythical spark of love, even though
this is just an electrical spark, no
more, as all scientists very well know?
But if it is so, how do they explain
love arisen at sight, not touch? Does brain
just short circuit itself then? That’s insane!
If we are no more, as human beings,
than piles of atoms, such abstract things
beyond science should not be occurring.
