Some days I don’t wanna do anything
but sleep — partly because of the weather,
partly because of the hollow feeling
deep in my soul where I still miss you, dear.

Pretty (relatively)

I don’t see it when some
people (in my family)
say that I’m quite pretty.
However, apparently,
it’s not quite enough for
anyone to actually
desire me as their
lover, unfortunately.

Snail trail

I’m laying in bed, thinking of you, dear,
when I notice a single silent tear
crawling out from the corner of my eye,
bidding its home a forever good-bye
as it starts streaming down my cheek,
materializing all my feelings bleak,
leaving behind a wet and salty trail
like some kind of a tiny liquid snail,
expending itself wholly on the way,
marking off the start of another wail.

Príliš hlboko

Vpísal si sa mi tak hlboko do pamäte, do života, do srdca,
že na teba asi nikdy zabudnúť nedokážem.
Ver, že by som najradšej nemala vôbec žiadne takéto pocity
ku komukoľvek. No čo mám robiť, keď ťa milujem?
