It’s been so long
since you and I, we loved and dated
back at the school
time when we both were only sixteen,
crazy in love
so much your faults I just didn’t see,
you loved me too,
or at least you so well pretended.

In a parallel universe

and now raise a family.

If it’d been strong,
it could have been twelve years already
and half the time
we could have been happily married,
owned one small house,
already raising at least one kid.
