When two introverts meet

How one is to proceed
when two introverts meet?
How can they make friends?

My self-esteem is low, almost zero.
So I need the man to be the hero
and speak to me as the first.

And most boys I know are really like that,
for sure, always ready to start a chat
whenever they meet a girl.

But never before I’ve met man like you,
so lukewarm. Or you’re just introvert too?
Not used to girls’ attention?

So many times we have passed each other.
But simple “Hello” said of us neither.
Have you ever noticed me?

I lack enough courage to call on you
and attempt to chat through PC failed too.
I wonder what’s up with you.

Have you a girlfriend – very jealous one,
who forbids you to talk to anyone
who is not male but female?

Don’t you like girls? Or you’re just so shy,
as much as me, or even more than I?
Is something such possible?

For you seem so quiet and serious,
as some lone wolf, a bit mysterious.
Rather like an introvert.

Maybe you have just closed circle of friends
and don’t wish for its further disturbance.
Yet I would like to join it.

I can imagine quite well how it feels
when someone new tries to disturb your peace,
cause I’m introvert as well.

Accused of living in one’s own world and
with old way of life perfectly content,
people like them often are.

To have flaps on eyes, they’re said so rudely.
They just don’t interact so easily.
Yet may see what others don’t.

Disliking changes, preferring habit.
But still, someone who would understand it
and them, they too desire.

We may have in common more than you think.
So why don’t we try to make closer link?
Because I guess I like you.
